This is maybe the easiest Tool to use in the box. There are no instructions needed. Let me start by asking you a question, how much garbage do you listen to each day? News, gossip, reality TV, etc.? And you wonder why you are a negative person? Or do you at least wonder why you aren’t reaching new levels of success? This is one of the most obvious. The funniest thing is all these media outlets tell you how bad things are and how depressed you should be. Then the biggest joke is you get tons of commercials telling you how to fix all the problems you have with just a pill. If you truly want to reprogram the way your brain has been wired, then think of this Tool as antivirus software.
Many spend a good portion of their day commuting to work. We all connect commuting with something bad, something negative, something we hate and wish we could avoid. Why not use that time for personal growth? What I hear a lot is, “I don’t have time to listen to CDs or read these helpful books.” Hello, it’s not that you don’t have the time; it’s what you are doing with your time. If you commute an hour a day…well, you do the math. Another great time to listen to these motivational gems is during your workouts. If you are the type who likes to multitask, then here is a perfect opportunity. Think of the opportunities you have that you could replace with listening to positive CDs or the possibilities to do two things at once. Does anyone here garden or do lawn work?
When it comes to people who don’t utilize motivational CDs, I believe they either never have listened to them or maybe have dabbled a bit and quit because they didn’t work. Well, if you’ve never listened to them, then you have no excuse not to try this time tested Tool. For those of you who have and think that it didn’t do much for you, I may have a theory as to why. A Tool can only build if you have the plan of what to build. This is why I have you fill out a blueprint so you have a plan and a direction. I think many believe they can just pop in a tape and everything should be better and when it’s not, they simply say the audio “self-help” stuff doesn’t work for me. When you listen to these motivational programs and think about what you have written down on your sheet, they are much more effective because you are directly correlating their advice to the goals you have listed on your blueprint. I have found when I have some goals written down and fresh in my mind for the next 21 days, the CDs have a much more profound effect. Selecting the speakers that are right for you is like picking a hammer that fits just right. Chances are you’ll find a few.
